BEFORE YOU START
Start with almost dry or damp hair - conditioner and/or styling product (curl enhancer, anti-frizz, mousse, texturizer, volume boost, etc.) already applied. If you struggle with frizz, make sure your hair is well conditioned... a leave-in conditioner can help to keep hair smooth.

HOW TO WRAP
Take a section of hair and wrap it around a set of 2 strips in desired direction. Keep the section flat as you wrap just like you would with a curling wand.
HOW TO SECURE
Secure the ends of your hair by wrapping the elastic loop around once, pull it out, twist and then wrap around a 2nd or 3rd time.
SOFT LOOSE CURLS
For soft loose curls, allow strips to hang freely, "Dreadlocks Style".
FOR TIGHTER CURLS
For tighter curls, twist the strip once or twice and tuck end into top of headband, "Princess Leia Style".
FOR TIGHTEST CURLS
For tightest curls, twist strip until it coils around itself and then secure the whole bundle with an elastic loop, "Bantu Knot Style".
Keep in mind: The tighter the curl, the longer the drying time, however for many hair types these methods can work well on dry hair too!
FOR SPIRAL CURLS
Take smaller sections of hair and use all 16 single strips.
Section off and braid the crown. Then place Octocurl and braid the rest of your hair with any combination of hair and strips.
Section off the crown and clip into place before placing Octocurl. Use the strips with your method of choice for the remaining hair.
Then release the crown and spray hair spray or volume boost on the roots and set with soft rollers.
Use a hair dryer to speed drying time if needed.
Or to refresh day 2 or 3 hair, use Octocurl with dry hair by warming hair wraps with a hair dryer. Allow to cool to set curls.
*Use the low air setting at first to make sure your hair doesn't easily tangle in the microfiber.
